However you spend your days at Springlake, you are sure to enjoy the surroundings. Over 5 acres of private grounds provide plenty of opportunity for walkers, artists, and the wildlife enthusiast. Depending on when you visit you might well see otter, deer, perhaps a kingfisher or one of our nesting owls, but you’ll definitely notice our resident sheep! It really is a wildlife haven. Fishing in the lake is exclusive to our guests, and the heated indoor pool and large games room with snooker, table tennis, and table football are available for guests to enjoy at the owner's discretion. Plus a BBQ area with gas barbecue, also a pool table undercover in a relaxing seated area. You can spend your whole visit just enjoying the grounds and the facilities, and a warm welcome is extended to families, couples and groups. Alternatively, you can visit the attractive old market towns of Beccles, Bungay, and Halesworth, just a short drive away or the wide range of attractions throughout Suffolk and Norfolk. You can even hire a boat for the day to explore the Norfolk Broads, offering an alluring array of wildlife. Just two self-contained apartments (Bullrush and Dragonfly), furnished to a high standard, share all the grounds and facilities with the owners, who live in the adjacent 'Copperfield'.
